From June 6, 2025, you will need the MaLo-ID for every registration, de-registration or re-registration of your energy supply contract.
The MaLo-ID or market location ID, short for market location identification number, is an eleven-digit number that uniquely identifies each market location in the German energy market. It was introduced by the Federal Network Agency in February 2018 to simplify communication between energy suppliers, grid operators and customers and will be mandatory from June 6, 2025.
The MaLo-ID is similar to an IBAN, which can only be assigned to one bank account.

Gas price brake – December 2022
For private household customers and medium-sized companies, the federal government will pay the December 2022 discount for the gas and district heating supply from the respective supplier.
This means
The advance payment to be reimbursed for December 2022 will be included in your 2022 service charge bill, as provided for by the federal government, if your home is supplied by gas central heating or district heating. As a result, you will have to make the full advance payments for heating costs for December 2022. We would also like to point out that the advance heating cost payments may also include non-refundable items such as metering services, operating electricity, chimney sweep and maintenance costs. Only the pure energy costs for December 2022 will be reimbursed.
If you purchase natural gas directly from your supplier, you will find all the relevant information on your supplier’s website.

WVB Centuria employees donate to the Berliner Herz children’s hospice.
Social commitment is a top priority at WVB Centuria throughout the year. One of the highlights, however, was the raffle at the employee Christmas party. This time, due to the current CORONA situation, it took place on 24.06.2022 as an exception. This year, the proceeds of 1,285 euros went to the Berliner Herz children’s hospice.
The Berliner Herz children’s hospice offers partial and full inpatient care for children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 27 with life-shortening illnesses and their families and relatives.
As WVB Centuria, we naturally all want to support the kind of valuable support provided by the voluntary and full-time staff at the children’s hospice.
For the management of WVB Centuria, social commitment is one of its declared corporate goals. We are delighted to be able to hand over the donation and thank the hospice for its great work.
